Things To Do In Wimberley

Forkgallery

Here are some suggestions to fill your day in the Hill Country around Wimberley:

Poco Rio

In addition to Forkgallery, Poco Rio's tenants include Matthew Fuller's photography studio and gallery, the Art & Soul Gallery, the Lighthouse Oyster Bar and Grill, and the Poco Rio miniature golf course and gardens. Directly across Ranch Road 12 from Poco Rio is Bill Meek's glass studio and gallery.

Wimberley

In downtown Wimberley, look for Rancho Deluxe (14010 Ranch Road 12, opposite the square), Terra Distante (up the left forking road from Rancho Deluxe, past the Lumberyard shopping center) and Gallery on the Square (on Wimberley Square). There are dozens of other shops, like the Kiss the Cook gourmet store, throughout the square.

On the south side of town is the Wimberley Glass Works (111 West Spoke Hill Drive off Ranch Road 12).

On the first Saturday of the month from April thru December, Wimberley Market Days (at Lion's Field north of town on FM 2325) features hundreds of vendors selling everything from antiques to junk (and lots of things that fall somewhere in-between).

Besides the Lighthouse Oyster Bar and Grill in Poco Rio, local restaurants include Cypress Creek Cafe (302 Wimberley Square), Ino'z (14012 Ranch Road 12) Christo's Comidas Mexicana (1 River Road), Juan Enrique's Restaurante Y Cantina (500 River Road), Papa Pasta's (200 Stillwater, south of town), and Casa Loma Tex-Mex Y Cantina (9595 RR 12 #11).
